Circumcision scars: does it make your penis augmentation more complicated?

First things first, a circumcision is where the foreskin (the skin covering the tip of the penis) is removed.  It is a procedure that has been performed on boys for thousands of years and in some religions, is an important part of their faith.

Circumcision in Australia reached its peak in the 1950s, with over 80% of males being circumcised. It is now estimated around 20% of newborn boys are currently circumcised.

Circumcision and Penis Augmentation

Our CALIBRE non-surgical penis augmentation procedures consist of injecting TGA approved cosmetic filler to increase penis girth.

Technically, it is easier to do it on a circumcised penis than on an uncircumcised penis because you have a limited area where the gel can be injected. It is also a lot quicker, easier and simpler to augment a circumcised penis than someone with foreskin.

That’s not to say an uncircumcised penis can’t be augmented to your aesthetic pleasings, it just will take a technically different approach to make sure the product doesn’t end up in the foreskin.

As the statistics above show, now the vast majority of young men are uncircumcised whilst our older male patients tend to be circumcised.

Penis Augmentation and Circumcision Scars

When it comes to circumcised penises, there is a scar on the surface of the penis. The scar isn’t just surface level, it is also attached to tough bands deeper down. As the product is placed further into the penis than the surface, it has to interact with these deep scars.

Often the skin between the circumcision scar and the glans is harder to get the filler smooth along the penis length.

Can I still have a penis augmentation if I’ve been circumcised?

Yes, you most definitely can. Even around circumcision scars, filler can be injected.

It may just take a bit more effort to blend. Whether you are circumcised or not, there are different technical issues to work with.

What is our penis augmentation procedure?

The penis enlargement procedure is a doctor-performed injectable designed to noticeably increase erect and flaccid penile girth, along with flaccid length.

Our 15ml Package often increases flaccid circumference by 1 inch, which results in around 0.5 to 0.7 inches when erect. The clinic session only takes 1 hour, and the results are immediate and long-lasting.

Our CALIBRE medical technique is non-surgical, which means we can make adjustments whether you are circumcised or uncircumcised to get the filler symmetry you are after.

Book a consultation with our team at CALIBRE to discuss penis augmentation options for you. Our process is discrete and non-evasive. We do this every day!
